Hipag is ready for every HIP eventuality

Hipag Services is already fully geared to serve the Home Information Pack (HIP) market in June 2007, whether arrangements are statutory or voluntary.

Says Hipag CEO Rob Hailstone, ‘We will offer two types of Home Information Pack to vendors. Our One Star Pack will contain an Energy Performance Certificate and will cost between £300 - £400 on an average property. Our Two Star Pack will also contain a Home Condition report and will cost between £650 - £800.’

‘The two star pack makes better sense for the buyer because it will contain the all-important Home Condition Report. It is the HCR in particular that ensures there will be no last minute surprises for the seller. Although it will cost sellers an extra £300-£400 they will get the benefits of peace of mind, less stress and no last minute withdrawals.’

Whether they opt for one star or two star HIPs, Hipag members will still get the unique benefits of our HIPs – each pack will contain a legal summary and solicitors will still be offering a free HIP appraisal.
